This is a true story!!

Last Thursday night, Country Magic Band founder Bill McGarrity got a call from the owner of some bar way out in the middle of Texas. The guy on the other end starts talking to Bill like he knew him or something. Then he says, "Well, I just wanted to check in with you to make sure you guys are ready for the gig this weekend. Is everything OK on your end?" Bill says, "Uhhmm, I think maybe you've got the wrong number." Guy says, "Well, aren't you in Country Magic?" Bill goes, "Yep, but we're in Mississippi!" Dude then says, "So you guys better get a move on if you're going to make it here for tomorrow night!" Luckily, Bill finally convinced the guy that this was a classic case of mistaken identity. They both had a good laugh about it then said goodbye. And yes, there is another 'Country Magic' out in Texas, better known as 'Bill Bertrand & Country Magic'. Still trying to find their website, I'll post it when I find it.
